SERVICES
First Aid / CPR / AED
Engaging, Cal/OSHA-compliant training designed for construction, manufacturing, and other high-hazard industries. Focused on essential life-saving skills, reinforced through hands-on practice and scenarios.
Fire Extinguisher
Workplace extinguisher training combining classroom instruction with live-fire, hands-on practice. Classes are tailored to your facility’s hazards and extinguisher types.
Active Shooter Response
Practical instruction in situational awareness, emergency response, and workplace coordination during active shooter incidents. Designed to improve readiness under high-stress conditions.
Community Disaster Preparedness
Workshops for individuals, families, and communities on disaster readiness, including personal preparedness, communication planning, and response strategies for wildfires, earthquakes, and power outages.
Additional Workplace Trainings
Options include Forklift Safety, Heat Illness Prevention, Hazard Communication (HazCom), Workplace Violence Prevention, and other OSHA-mandated safety topics. Custom training classes are also available for specific operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Safewest’s training is led by a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with over 20 years of experience teaching adults and a professional background as a first responder. Instruction draws on additional expertise in emergency medicine, armed security, and hazardous materials.
Courses are designed to meet Cal/OSHA requirements while remaining realistic, engaging, and directly applicable to the environments where participants work and live.
