Safewest provides OSHA-required hazcom training, including overview of OSHA's hazard communication standard, the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), how to read and understand a Safety Data Sheet and labels, and an overview of other hazard communication systems. Course instructors are experienced workplace trainers with a background in hazardous materials and hazard communication.
For hazmat employers requiring training under the 49 CFR Department of Transportation regulations, Safewest also offers DOT hazmat training courses including general awareness, safety, function specific and security awareness training. Attendees will participate in scenario-based exercises to demonstrate how to apply their knowledge in the workplace.
